Summer Camp
Camp Meade
Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation - June 26 - July 2, 2022
Costs: Adult $170, Youth $440
Early Bird discount $25 youth, $20 adult if paid by 5/15.
Camp Meade at Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation is the Girl's Troop Summer Camp for 2022. The theme this year is the wild west. During open program scouts will be able to spend time on the range, climbing tower and zip lines along with many other activities.
Camp Meade offers three program paths:
1. First Year Camper - Pathfinder is open to those who have not attended BSA summer camp and are not yet First Class rank.
2. Traditional summer camp experience. Scouts have the opportunity to complete 3-5 merit badges throughout the week, attending each merit badge daily. Open Camp program in the evenings for more time on merit badges or to try programs of interest.
3. The Maverick program is an advanced camper program for scouts 15 +.
Camp Freedom
Heritage Scout Reservation - July 10-17, 2023
Costs: Adult $185. Youth $440, Early Bird discount $25 youth, $25 adult if paid by 6/1.
Camp Freedom offers three program paths:
1. First Year Camper - Trail to First Class is open to those who have not attended BSA summer camp and are not yet First Class rank.
2. Traditional summer camp experience. Scouts have the opportunity to complete 3-5 merit badges throughout the week, attending each merit badge daily. Open Camp program in the evenings for more time on merit badges or to try programs of interest.
3. Eagle Base - A day trek program focusing on mid level adventure and older scouts.
Broad Creek Scout Reservation
Camp Saffron
July 24-30, 2022
This is an opportunity for a 2nd week at summer camp for both the boy's and girl's troops. Youth should give priority to their troop's week prior to attending this week. Since this is our home council's camp, camperships are available.
Broad Creek offers three program paths:
1. First Year Camper - Open to those who have not attended BSA summer camp and are not yet First Class rank.
2. Traditional summer camp experience. Scouts have the opportunity to complete 4-6 merit badges throughout the week, attending each merit badge daily. Open Camp program in the evenings for more time on merit badges or to try programs of interest.
3. Trek - This is a mid level adventure program focusing on hiking, climbing and canoeing. This is a new program offered at Broad Creek.

Costs: Adult $175
Youth $425, Early Bird discount $25 if paid by 4/1, Late fee $50 if paid after 6/1
