Join us for a unique opportunity as several of our adults head the leadership for the provisional B & G troops the last week of summer camp. Last year we had over 30 scouts from our council, surrounding councils and even one from overseas.
Being part of such a diverse troop provides an experience unlike any other troop summer camp experience. Giving scouts the opportunity to make new friends within our greater scouting community. For many, this was our scout's favorite week of summer camp, which is our hope again this year.
Broad Creek has had many exciting changes this year adding rock climbing, stand up paddle boarding as well as a Trek program. Stay tuned for updated brochures for this year.
High Adventure
National Jamboree
The National Jamboree is July 19-28, 2023 at Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia. National Jamborees occur every 4 years and each council sends a contingent. More information can be found on the links.
World Jamboree
The World Scout Jamboree is a 10 – 12 day camping experience that is held every four years. The 25th World Scout Jamboree will be held August 1-12, 2023 in SaeManGeum, South Korea. The 24th World Scout Jamboree was held in the summer of 2019 at the Summit Bechtel Scout Reserve in West Virginia, USA. Interested scouts are encouraged to apply individually to be part of the US contingent.
